lesson 02

Trusting God in the waiting

Psalm 27:14 10 min readFree

Waiting feels passive, but in Scripture it is one of the most active forms of faith.

David writes Psalm 27 from a place of pursuit and pressure — and still says, 'Wait for the Lord.' Waiting is not wasted. It is where character is formed.

Whatever you are waiting for today — the answer, the healing, the door to open — God is not absent in the in-between. He is shaping you in it.

reflect

  • · What season of waiting are you in right now?
  • · How has God been faithful in past seasons of waiting?
  • · What might He be forming in you through this delay?

a prayer

Lord, give me a heart that waits well. Strengthen me, steady me, and help me trust You in the in-between. Amen.
