Psalm 92:1-5
Gratitude at Day’s End
3 pages · Web workbook
“It is good to praise the Lord… proclaiming your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night.”
Evening gratitude is not pretending the day was easy. It is gathering evidence that God was present, then handing the day back before sleep.
1 · Arrive
Sit quietly for two minutes. Let the day become one whole thing instead of a hundred unfinished pieces.
What sensation tells me I am tired?
What can wait outside this moment?
2 · Gather three gifts
Choose one physical gift, one relational gift, and one grace from God.
Something I saw, tasted, heard, or touched:
A person or kindness I received:
A truth, protection, correction, or mercy from God:
3 · Release what remains
Name the day’s ache without trying to repair it tonight.
What disappointed me?
What remains unfinished?
Into Your hands, I place…
4 · Repeat for seven evenings
At the end of the week, read your entries together.
What gift repeated?
Where was God faithful in an unexpected way?
What can I carry into next week with peace?
Close each evening with the same sentence: ‘The day is finished. God is still faithful. I may rest.’
